Renaissance Lifestyle Center expands with Phases III and IV
Neel-Schaffer provided engineering design and construction phase engineering services for the new Costco Wholesale Warehouse and Costco Fuel Center that anchor Phases III and IV of the Renaissance at Colony Park Lifestyle Center in Ridgeland.
This project includes the development of approximately 48 acres located to the south of the Natchez Trace Parkway and the original Renaissance at Colony Park and Renaissance at Colony Park Phase II.
Phase III, which will provide 350,000 square feet of retail space when built out, is anchored by the Costco Wholesale that opened on March 12, 2020.
Phase IV includes the Costco Fuel Center, which opened in January 2020, and additional retail development. The fuel center is located on the opposite side of Highland Colony Parkway from Costco Wholesale.
Engineering Services provided included site planning, topographic surveying, traffic studies, vehicular and pedestrian circulation design, traffic signals, grading and drainage design, utility infrastructure design, geotechnical investigation, and permitting.
Neel-Schaffer provided technical support throughout the site plan approval process with the City of Ridgeland. Materials testing and construction engineering services were provided during the construction phase for both facilities.
