Jackson, Miss. (Oct. 5, 2026) – Neel-Schaffer is pleased to announce that Trey Hopper, PE, has been promoted to Office Manager for the firm’s office in Oxford, Mississippi.
Trey joined Neel-Schaffer’s Oxford office in 2025 and brings seven years of consulting engineering experience to his new role. He provides project management and engineering design services for a variety of infrastructure projects.
As Office Manager, he will oversee staff, strengthen client relationships, and help expand the services available to communities throughout the region.
“Trey takes a deep personal responsibility in taking care of our clients,” said Kevin Stafford, PE, Neel-Schaffer’s North Mississippi Area Manager. “Care, service and excellence are values that drive Neel-Schaffer, and Trey is the embodiment of those values. He has also been very pro-active in developing new business by seeking out new clients and getting to know them and introducing them to the many disciplines and engineering services we can provide.”

Hopper earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Mississippi and is a registered Professional Engineer in Mississippi and Alabama. After graduating from Ole Miss, he worked in Texas for two years and Alabama for four before returning to Oxford.
