Senator Terry Brown Amphitheater

COLUMBUS, MS

Entertainment venue is another great amenity near Riverwalk

Neel-Schaffer was the lead design firm for the Terry Brown Amphitheater in Columbus, across from the renovated Tombigbee River pedestrian bridge and connected to The Riverwalk Park.

The $3 million, 3,500-seat outdoor venue is expected to be completed in 2018, pending funding. Columbus Mayor Robert Smith says the amphitheater will be one more amenity in a growing list for the City.

The amphitheater is being built on approximately three acres and is part of an overall plan to improve and expand The Riverwalk along the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. The amphitheater will be a revenue enhancer, tourist attraction, and quality of life asset for the City of Columbus. It will serve as host to numerous public and private events, enhancing the quality of entertainment that Columbus can offer.
