If so, Neel-Schaffer might have just the right opportunity for you as a CEI Senior Project Engineer to join our growing engineering firm. This position is based in our Chipley Office in the Florida Panhandle. The successful candidate will have at least six years of experience directing highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection programs to include planning and organizing the work of team members and developing and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida or the ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of employment.
  • Six years of engineering experience with two years of experience in relevant transportation projects.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering may be substituted for one year of engineering experience.
  • Five years of experience for Complex Category 2 (CC2) and PTS bridge structures may be considered.
  • Ability to interact and engage with clients as project needs dictate.
    FDOT Advanced MOT certification preferred, or ability to acquire certification within 6 months of employment.
  • CTQP Quality Control Manager certification preferred, or ability to acquire within 6 months of employment.
  • CTQP Final Estimates 1 & 2 preferred, or ability to acquire within 6 months of employment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
