Neel-Schaffer has an opening for a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our growing engineering firm. This position can be based in our Fort Worth, Arlington or Dallas (TX) offices.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, seeking career growth, and possess solid communication and problem-solving skills in a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Additionally, the Water/Wastewater Project Engineer will have experience with water main, water storage tanks, gravity sewer system, force main, booster station, and sewer lift station.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas or the ability to obtain Texas PE license within 6 to 12 months, preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with technical work / project management in Water/Wastewater.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and conceptualize.
  • The ability to produce technical reports and memorandums that are clear, concise, and accurate.
  • The ability to communicate effectively during day-to-day interactions with colleagues and clients.
  • Experience with AutoCAD (and/or Civil 3D), Microstation, and/or ArcGIS is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
