Aaron re-joined Neel-Schaffer in 2016 and has 13 years of experience in project management, project development, engineering design, construction administration, supervision, and funding procurement.

Working out of the firm’s Birmingham (AL) and Nashville (TN) offices, Aaron holds PE registrations in Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. He serves as a Senior Project Manager and Aviation Engineer in Neel-Schaffer’s Aviation Group. His responsibilities include the management and technical direction of civil engineering projects, including new site development, civil infrastructure reconstruction, and rehabilitation packages. His comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practice of engineering along with his experience in planning and implementing projects makes him a valuable leader and asset to our team. He has completed various airport projects including apron and taxiway construction and rehabilitation, terminal and hangar expansions and new installations, master planning, PAPI installation, airport security, capital improvement plan development and grant administration.

From 2007-2013, Aaron worked in Neel-Schaffer’s Columbus (MS) office, where he was involved in aviation projects at the Golden Triangle Regional Airport near Columbus, and the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport. From 2013-2016, working with RS&H in Raleigh, NC, he provided services for projects at the Albert J. Ellis Airport and Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
