American Eurocopter takes the Golden Triangle to new heights

The Golden Triangle Airport Authority chose the team of JBHM and Neel-Schaffer to design American Eurocopter Mississippi, one of the state’s newest industries, located at Golden Triangle Regional Airport.

Eurocopter is a wholly owned subsidiary of EADS, one of the world’s leaders in aerospace and defense. Its US subsidiary is American Eurocopter. The facility is comprised of administrative space, manufacturing and assembly area, and special requirements, which include overhead cranes and paint booths.

Neel-Schaffer provided a broad range of civil and site design services, which included conceptual site layouts for cost feasibility through final construction documentation and inspection. The project consisted of full site design, including storm drainage, grading, paving, layout, utility construction, and construction administration services.
