Sean Mayer joins Neel-Schaffer as Transportation Senior Project Manager in Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 19, 2022) – Neel-Schaffer, Inc., is pleased to announce that Sean Mayer, PE, has joined the firm and will serve as a Transportation Senior Project Manager based in the firm’s Nashville office.

Mayer has over 22 years of experience in the planning and design of major transportation improvement and facility projects in the San Francisco Bay area. He is well-versed in permitting processes and project development procedures, including project study reports, project reports, and PS&E. His responsibilities have included: alternatives analysis, preliminary and final engineering design, preparation of stage construction and traffic management plans, preparation of design exception fact sheets, and stormwater data reports. He has provided designs for interchanges, highway corridors, on- and off-ramp modifications, grade separations, local street improvements, and sound barriers.

Mayer will manage major highway construction projects for Neel-Schaffer.

Mayer is a registered Professional Engineer. He is a graduate of California State University – Chico, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
