Environmental Science Group Manager
Tyler joined Neel-Schaffer in 2021 and now serves as Manager of the Environmental Services Group (ESG) based in the firm’s Ridgeland (MS) Office.
Tyler has more than 15 years of experience as a technical expert, project manager, trainer, and team leader, specializing in various federal- and state-regulated environmental compliance projects in the public and private sectors.
His primary responsibilities include management of ESG’s environmental compliance, environmental due diligence, and soil and groundwater assessment/remediation projects throughout the southeast United States.
More specifically, Tyler is responsible for environmental inspections/audits; environmental permitting assistance and preparation; stormwater compliance assistance and preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs); preparation of Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) plans; designing and conducting assessment and remediation projects for various subsurface contaminants, and conducting ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for a wide variety of public and private clients.
Additionally, Tyler has experience with developing project proposals, scheduling, cost estimates, and other technical documents.
