Jason joined Neel-Schaffer in 2023 and serves as Engineer Manager in the firm’s Huntsville (AL) Office, balancing management and design responsibilities for a growing office.
Jason oversaw the opening of the Huntsville Office and helped the firm establish a presence in the growing greater Huntsville area market through strategic hires and client management. In 2026, he was appointed to a Vice President role with the firm.
Jason has more than 20 years of experience as a Project Manager and Engineer, primarily in Water and Wastewater utility design, operations, and management.
Prior to joining Neel-Schaffer, Jason served for nine years as the Water Manager for Madison Utilities in Madison, AL. In that role, he gained extensive experience in water supply, operations, and engineering, and he oversaw two water treatment plant expansions.
As a private consultant, Jason has experience designing roadway, pump station, and gravity sewer projects, as well as in reviewing residential, commercial, and construction projects.
Jason is a past-President of the Huntsville Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is a member of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama.
