Neel-Schaffer is seeking responses from qualified applicants for the position of Project Manager – Water/Wastewater to join our growing engineering firm. This position will be based in one of our three offices in the Golden Triangle area of northeast Mississippi, West Point, Starkville, or Columbus.

As a Project Manager, you will lead and manage municipal, water/wastewater, or site civil engineering projects. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support other departments as project and client needs evolve. Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Mississippi or the ability to obtain within 6 to 12 months, preferred.
  • 10-plus years of experience with technical work and project management in the field of Water/Wastewater, Municipal or Site Civil.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and conceptualize.
  • The ability to produce technical reports and memorandums that are clear, concise, and accurate.
  • The ability to communicate effectively during day-to-day interactions with teaming partners, colleagues, and clients.
  • Experience with design software preferred. AutoCAD (and/or Civil 3D), and
  • ArcGIS is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
