Jonathan Russell named Tennessee Transportation Planning Lead for Neel-Schaffer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 17, 2024) – Neel-Schaffer, Inc., is proud to announce the appointment of Jonathan Russell as the new Tennessee Transportation Planning Lead. This strategic hire is a significant step in the firm’s ongoing plan to enhance and expand its Transportation Planning Services.

Jonathan brings a decade of experience in Land Use and Transportation Planning to the team, including an eight-year tenure with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, where he served six years as Transportation Planning Supervisor in the Long-Range Planning Division. His extensive skills will be invaluable in advancing the Transportation Planning services Neel-Schaffer offers to clients.

Based in the Nashville office, Jonathan will oversee Transportation Planning initiatives throughout Tennessee and support clients across the firm’s nine-state footprint.

Jonathan holds a BS in Geosciences with a concentration in Geology from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of City and Regional Planning with a focus on Transportation Planning from The Ohio State University.
