FORT WORTH, Texas (March 7, 2024) – Wade Barnes, PE, PhD, CFM, has joined Neel-Schaffer as a Water Resources Project Manager, based in the firm’s Fort Worth office.
Wade has 21 years of experience, seven in water/sewer construction and 14 in Hydraulics and Hydrology engineering. Wade has extensive experience designing drainage plans for site development, including grading, utilities, pavement/parking lots, and detention ponds. He has designed stormwater systems and is experienced in the production of H&H modeling for stormwater systems, hydraulic channel modeling, and watershed analysis.
Wade’s addition gives Neel-Schaffer two Certified Floodplain Managers in the Metroplex and 12 across the company.

Wade is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and holds CFM certification through the Association of State Floodplain Managers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston and a PhD in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University.
