HOUSTON, Texas (September 1, 2022) – Neel-Schaffer, Inc., is pleased to announce that Manwar Hossain, PE, CFM, has joined the firm and will serve as the Senior Engineer Manager and Hydraulics and Hydrology discipline leader for the firm’s Houston office.
Hossain has more than 20 years of experience in a wide variety of engineering disciplines, including transportation design-build projects, basin scale hydrology and hydraulics, transportation drainage, land development, storm water management, water supply, water quality and groundwater analysis.

Hossain is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and a Certified Floodplain Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Bangladesh Agricultural University and a Master of Engineering with a Hydraulic-Land and Water Development emphasis, from the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in The Netherlands.
