STARKVILLE, Miss.  (March 13, 2020) – Neel-Schaffer would like to congratulate Saunders Ramsey, PE, on accepting the role of Executive Director of Campus Services with Mississippi State University. While we hate that Saunders is leaving our firm, we wish him, his family, and the MSU family the very best as Saunders joins a great institution.

Saunders is a Starkville native who joined Neel-Schaffer in 2011 and served as the Engineer Manager for the firm’s Starkville office.

“Saunders represents many aspects of the Neel-Schaffer culture,” said Kevin Stafford, PE, Neel-Schaffer’s North Mississippi Region Manager. “He’s very community-minded, practices sound engineering and ethics, and always keeps his client’s interests and goals at the forefront.

“Neel-Schaffer has greatly benefited from his leadership in Starkville and the surrounding communities, and while we could never replace his energy and drive, we look forward to using his example when considering our next community minded leader for this office.”

“I have been very blessed to be a part of the Neel-Schaffer team for the past nine years,” said Saunders, reflecting on the transition. “This decision was not made lightly, as I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Neel-Schaffer, and I have extremely mixed emotions about leaving. They gave me the opportunity to come back to my hometown and assist in providing a better quality of life for our community and alma mater. Their mentorship and trust in my abilities have made me a better engineer and leader, and for that, I am grateful.”

Neel-Schaffer looks forward to continuing our relationship with Saunders and MSU as he transitions into his new role. We know both will continue to prosper from this opportunity.
