ARLINGTON, Texas (June 1, 2017) – Neel-Schaffer, Inc., is pleased to announce that Tommy Foster, PE, has joined the firm as a Transportation Engineer, and will work out of our Arlington office.
Foster has more than a dozen years of experience in transportation engineering and project management, including two years with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). He has been involved in all aspects of roadway design and construction management, including interstates, highways, bridges, interchanges, traffic control, and multi-use trails and paths.
“We are excited about Tommy joining our firm as a project manager on our transportation engineering pursuits in Texas,” said Derek Cheatham, PE, Vice President for Neel-Schaffer’s North Texas operations. “Tommy has gained great experience in a variety of roadway and bridge design projects, including those in local counties and through TxDOT. He also has design-build experience on projects such as the Chisolm Trail Parkway and the Grand Parkway (SH 99). He is a great addition to our growing staff in the Arlington office.”
Foster is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Midwestern State University.
