Neel-Schaffer welcomes new Engineer Manager
in Shreveport

Neel-Schaffer, Inc., is pleased to announce that Steve Vercher, PE, has joined the firm as Engineer Manager in the Shreveport, Louisiana office.

Vercher has over 22 years of experience, serving as an engineer and project manager for public and private entities in Louisiana. In particular, his experience includes working for the City of Bossier City and the City of Shreveport.  He has extensive design experience with lift stations, force mains, gravity sewer, water mains, permitting, drainage and roadway projects.

“Steve’s background and experience in an array of civil engineering disciplines such as road and bridge design, water and wastewater, and traffic engineering, will serve us well as we offer these services to our clients in north Louisiana,” said Jerry Trumps, Senior Vice President for Neel-Schaffer’s Southwest Region.  “Steve understands the needs of our municipal clients, having served for many years as assistant City Engineer for Bossier City.”

Charles Adams, the former Engineer Manager in the Shreveport office, is now working in the Neel-Schaffer New Orleans office as a Senior Project Engineer. Adams served in the Shreveport office for seven years, specializing in traffic engineering. He will offer the same expertise to New Orleans and the greater New Orleans area.
