Neel-Schaffer is seeking responses from qualified applicants for the position of Project Manager – Water/Wastewater to join our growing engineering firm. This position will be based in one of our four Jackson (MS) Metro Offices.
The successful candidate will have 8-plus years of experience in water/wastewater, municipal, or site civil projects. You will be a part of an Engineering Team and will assist other teams as project and client demands dictate. We need someone who enjoys interacting with public officials and truly making a difference in the communities in which we live and work.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Mississippi or the ability to obtain within 6 to 12 months, preferred.
- 8-plus years of experience with technical work and project management in the field of Water/Wastewater, Municipal or Site Civil.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and conceptualize.
- The ability to produce technical reports and memorandums that are clear, concise, and accurate.
- The ability to communicate effectively during day-to-day interactions with teaming partners, colleagues, and clients.
- Experience with hydraulic computer models such as EPANET, Bentley WaterCAD or Autodesk InfoWater, preferred.
- Experience with hydraulic design and computer modeling software preferred.
- AutoCAD (and/or Civil 3D), and ArcGIS is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
