Gabe is a Vice President with the firm who serves as Central Mississippi Area Manager.
Based in the Jackson Office, he oversees the Jackson, Madison, Brandon, Vicksburg, and Meridian offices. He also oversees the Environmental Services Group in the Ridgeland Office.
Gabe joined Neel-Schaffer as Meridian Office Engineer Manager Meridian in 2022 after a 23-year career in construction management with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT). After Neel-Schaffer was selected by MDOT to provide the CEI services for SR 57, a $212 million project to build 10 miles of new four-lane, divided highway in South Mississippi, Gabe was named Project Engineer for that job and established our project office in Vancleve, near the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
In February 2025, Gabe moved into his current role as Central Mississippi Area Manager, where he works with the CMS managers and staff to improve efficiencies across the board. He also assists with MDOT alternative delivery pursuits and opportunities.
He has been an active leader in the Mississippi Engineering Society, having served as President of that organization from 2018 to 2019.
