MAITLAND, Fla. (July 15, 2022) – Neel-Schaffer, Inc., is pleased to announce that Joe Margio, PE, has joined the firm and will serve as a Senior Project Manager based in the firm’s Maitland (FL) office.
Margio has 37 years of experience as a Project Manager and Engineer of Record for a wide variety of projects in all phases of civil engineering, including public utilities and environmental projects. He has extensive experience in the preparation of planning studies and plans and specifications for new public water and wastewater capital projects and rehabilitation projects.
The types of utility infrastructure projects he has designed and completed include potable water supply and pumping, water treatment, water transmission mains and distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, wastewater pump stations and pressure force mains, water storage and pumping, water and wastewater treatment plans, and treated effluent disposal facilities.
Margio will assist in expanding Neel-Schaffer’s water and wastewater discipline in Central Florida and companywide.

Margio is a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida and holds two degrees from the University of Central Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Limnology, and a Master of Science in Engineering.
