Dan Preslar joins Neel-Schaffer as a
Senior Transportation Project Manager

MAITLAND, Fla. (May 17, 2019) – Neel-Schaffer, Inc., is pleased to announce that Dan Preslar, P.E., PMP, has joined the firm and will serve as a Senior Transportation Project Manager.

Preslar has nearly 30 years of experience as a Project Engineer and Project Manager, working on a wide variety of Intelligent Transportation System projects across the country.

Among major projects Preslar has completed are an I-66 Active Traffic Management system for the Virginia Department of Transportation, the Nevada Department of Transportation’s Freeway Management System in Las Vegas, and the tolls, lighting, ITS, and signalization components for the Florida Department of Transportation’s SR 23 First Coast Expressway deployment in Jacksonville.

Preslar will be based in Neel-Schaffer’s Maitland office and provide services for clients across Central Florida and throughout the firm’s nine-state footprint.

“Dan has outstanding experience in designing and constructing ITS projects around the country,” said Rosemary Aldridge, PE, CHMM, a Senior Vice President who manages Neel-Schaffer’s Florida operations. “He will be a great asset to our Florida operation and our firm as we continue to expand technology and telecommunications services to support future ITS needs.”

Preslar is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Virginia, Nevada and California. He holds a Master of Civil Engineering degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida.
