Atlanta, Georgia (Sept. 8, 2026) – Neel-Schaffer has named Allen Shariett, PE, as Georgia Hydrology & Hydraulics Lead, further strengthening the firm’s water resources expertise across the Southeast.

In this role, Shariett will provide technical leadership for the firm’s hydrology and hydraulics services in Georgia, supporting transportation and infrastructure projects while helping grow the practice and strengthen client relationships across the state.

Shariett brings more than 20 years of civil engineering experience, including over 15 years supporting Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) projects and two decades serving clients across the Atlanta metropolitan area.

A licensed Professional Engineer, Shariett earned his bachelor’s degree in Biosystems Engineering from Auburn University. His experience includes bridge hydraulics, watershed studies, flood hazard mapping, stormwater master planning, roadway drainage design, FEMA mapping revisions, and post-construction stormwater management
