JACKSON, Miss. (December 9, 2025) – Neel-Schaffer is pleased to announce a key addition to our employee talent and development efforts, strengthening how we support the growth of our people and our firm. We are excited to welcome Tara Chrisco, an accomplished human resources leader with three decades of experience in employee development, coaching, and organizational effectiveness, as our new Senior Manager, Talent and Organizational Development.
This newly created role reflects Neel-Schaffer’s commitment to equipping our employees with the tools, resources, and pathways they need to thrive as we grow across our nine-state footprint.
“Tara’s background and approach to cultivating talent aligns with where we are as a company and with our firm’s growth goals,” said Anna Marie Chapman, Senior Vice President of Human Resources. “Her strategic insight and passion for developing people make her a valuable addition to our team.”
In her new role, Tara will shape and lead comprehensive development programs for Neel-Schaffer and its affiliated firms, Maptech and True North.
“Training is just one sliver of what development actually is,” Tara explained. “Our learning doesn’t come from just the classroom or training, it comes from our experiences on the job, learning from others, mentoring programs and such.”
Tara will lead firmwide efforts to strengthen talent strategy, build practical learning pathways, support teams through change, and elevate collaboration and engagement.
“My goal is to help every employee grow, contribute at their highest level, and embrace the culture of Care, Service, and Excellence that I have quickly learned truly does set us apart,” she said.
Tara holds a master’s degree in Human Development from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from the University of Missouri.
