Daniel Saliba Named Hydrology/Hydraulics Lead for Neel-Schaffer’s Alabama Operations

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (August 4, 2025) – We are excited to announce that Daniel Saliba, PE, has been promoted to the new role of Hydrology and Hydraulics Lead for Neel-Schaffer’s Alabama Operations.

Daniel has 14 years of experience in the water resources engineering field. He has served as a Project Manager since joining Neel-Schaffer in its Birmingham Office in 2020.

Mike Phillips, PE, CFM, Neel-Schaffer’s East Region H&H Lead, calls Daniel a “perfect fit” for this role, overseeing all Neel-Schaffer H&H projects in Alabama.

“Alabama is an important market, both for Neel-Schaffer and for the water resources discipline,” said Mike.  “Daniel has been an important part of several key projects in Alabama, including the West Alabama Highway progressive design-build project. The experience he has gained since joining our firm has prepared him well to take on this important role, and I know he will excel and continue to expand our water resources expertise and the services we can bring to our clients in Alabama.”

Daniel is a Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama and Georgia and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
