Patrick McAtee, PE
Roadway Design Engineer
Patrick joined Neel-Schaffer in 2016 and has nearly a decade of experience in all aspects of engineering roadway design. Based in the firm’s Atlanta (GA) office, Patrick holds PE registrations in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
Patrick is proficient in national and state specific roadway design standards and creating horizontal and vertical alignments, typical sections, striping plans, signing plans, traffic control plans, cross sections, and earthwork quantities.
His most recent projects have included design for the Georgia 400/I-285 interchange improvements, a TAP Grant sidewalk project, a US highway safety modification, and design for a two-party roadway project that involved a high-speed divided highway in an environmentally sensitive area.
Patrick is active in the Institute of Transportation Engineers, serving in several leadership roles and in the Georgia Section Mentor-Protégé Program. He also is active in the American Society of Highway Engineers, and Young Professionals in Transportation.
