Senior Project Engineer
Mark joined Neel-Schaffer in 1999 and serves as a Senior Project Engineer in the firm’s Madison (MS) office.
Mark’s 30-plus years of engineering and engineering/construction management experience include stints with the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and with private engineering firms. He has designed and administered construction of transportation, site-civil, environmental and architectural/structural projects in Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky, Alaska, North Carolina, West Virginia, the Republic of Panama, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mark’s experience includes design and construction of numerous roadway, building structures, retaining structures, site improvement, drainage projects, and pedestrian projects. He also has experience in the design and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities as well as sewer collection systems and water distribution systems. He has extensive experience in dealing with the special needs involved in the construction of military facilities.
Mark has managed projects for most of the municipalities in the Jackson Metro area, plus the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District, which oversees the Ross Barnett Reservoir.
