Hunter Thom, PE
Hunter joined Neel-Schaffer in 1998 and has more than 40 years of experience as a project design engineer and project manager.
Based in the firm’s Baton Rouge (LA) office, Hunter has been assigned to a variety of bridge, highway, and other projects. His duties include design and analysis, preparation of construction plans, specifications and cost estimates, supervision of engineering and drafting, and coordination with clients.
Hunter’s has extensive experience on the federal, state and local levels in the design of highway and other civil engineering projects, including structural design of highway bridges, and including line and grade, topographic surveys, environmental clearance, preliminary plans, right-of-way surveys/mapping, final plans and CE&I services.
