Henry Pate, PE
Senior Structural Engineer
Henry joined Neel-Schaffer in 2014 and serves as a Senior Structural Engineer on a variety of engineering projects, working out of the firm’s Nashville (TN) office.
Henry has more than 30 years of experience with the design of various types of concrete and steel structures with the Tennessee Department of Transportation Division Structures as a Civil Engineering Manager. He has designed several long span structures and was the project manager over several large interstate reconstruction projects in Tennessee.
Henry served on the AASHTO Subcommittee on Bridges and Structures T-14 Technical Committee for Structural Steel Design, NCHRP Panel 20-7 Evaluation of 3E Computer Modeling and Electronic Information Transfer for Efficient Design of Steel Bridges and NCHRJP Panel 12-68 on Rotational Limits for Elastomeric Bearings. He attended the first four-week FHWA Bridge Training Course at the Best Center University of Maryland.
