Andy Kissig, PE, CFM
Andy joined Neel-Schaffer in 2017 and has more than 25 years of experience as a Transportation Engineer, including nearly 25 years with the Texas Department of Transportation.
Based in the firm’s Arlington (TX) office, Andy is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas, and he is also a Certified Floodplain Manager.
Andy has extensive experience providing project management, roadway design, roadway lighting design, drainage design, pavement design, and plans, specification, and estimating services for a wide variety of projects.
Mr. Kissig filled a variety of roles at TxDOT, where he gained field experience on three roadway/bridge construction projects while in the Fort Worth District’s Tarrant County Area office. This involved construction inspection, invoicing, surveying, and reviewing plans/change orders. Mr. Kissig then transferred to the Fort Worth District’s Central Design office and was involved with various elements of PS&E design for mostly TxDOT urban roadway projects within Tarrant County.
Early in his career, he served as the Fort Worth District’s Illumination Design Engineer, which involved developing and reviewing various roadway lighting PS&E projects.
