Neel-Schaffer provides geotechnical engineering and material testing services through subsidiary firm SoilTech Consultants, Inc.

The successful design and construction of any facility begins with characterizing the properties of earthen materials and analyzing the reaction to loading conditions. SoilTech’s geotechnical engineers are meticulous when drilling, sampling, testing, and analyzing subsurface conditions.

Led by Practice Leader James Vinson, PE, SoilTech’s engineers have advanced degrees in geotechnical engineering and years of practical experience.

Based in Ridgeland (MS), the company has four Mississippi locations, and its in-house soils and concrete laboratories enable quality testing and scheduling to meet client’s needs. All laboratory tests are performed in accordance with ASTM specifications and have been validated by MDOT and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. SoilTech’s laboratory is accredited by AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL).
