Neel-Schaffer seeks responses from qualified candidates for the position of Senior Project Engineer/Manager – Roadway to work on a variety of projects in our Little Rock (AR) Office.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in designing and managing municipal and highway/roadway corridors, interchanges, roadway widening and intersection safety improvements for the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT). Duties also involve overall project/client management and coordination, engineering design, preparation of contract documents and technical specifications, cost/quantity estimation, data acquisition, construction administration, project scheduling, grant applications, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Arkansas or ability to obtain Arkansas PE licensure within 6 months.
- 7 to 15 years of progressive transportation/roadway design experience on transportation projects and thorough knowledge of ARDOT process.
- Experience in roadway plan production, OpenRoads, InRoads, or Geopak and Corridor Modeling.
- Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Valid driver’s license.
