Neel-Schaffer seeks responses from qualified candidates for the position of Project Engineer to work on a variety of projects in our Little Rock, AR, office. These projects may include civil/site, municipal, and water resources for local and state governmental entities.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing/completing the types of specified projects that could include some or all the following: Overall project/client management and coordination, engineering design, preparation of contract documents and technical specifications, cost/quantity estimation, data acquisition, construction administration, project scheduling, grant applications, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Arkansas or ability to obtain Arkansas PE licensure within 6 months.
• 10+ years of experience in the civil engineering field.
• Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D / MicroStation.
• Familiarity with ARDOT processes and standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver’s license.
