New facility places physical therapy services under one roof

Neel-Schaffer was contracted by Canizaro Cawthon Davis, the project architect, to provide design and construction phase services for a new 12,300-SF Outpatient Physical Therapy Facility for Mississippi Methodist Rehabilitation Center.

The new facility, located at 102 South Perkins Street in Ridgeland, MS, will consolidate all operations of the three existing outpatient clinics located in the Jackson/Ridgeland area.

A ribbon cutting was held on July 18, 2017 to dedicate the facility. Construction documents included the preparation of a site clearing plan, a grading and drainage plan, a site utility plan, a site paving plan with striping and signage, and various project details and technical specifications.

Pavement and drainage improvements to South Perkins Street and South Maple Street were also included in the scope of the project.

Construction phase services included submittal review, site visits to check conformance to the construction plans, and responses to contractor requests for information (RFIs).
