Jackson, MS (May 7, 2010) - Neel-Schaffer is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Rebecca Boone to Planning Resources Manager for it’s newly developed Planning Resources Department.
This newly created unit was designed to assist Neel-Schaffer Inc., and its clients with a myriad of planning activities, including, public involvement, meeting facilitation, project-staffing resources, training and special projects.
While these services have always been provided by Neel-Schaffer, creating a department to deal specifically with the intricate details and aspects of public involvement and project planning, more time and attention can be paid to the projects at hand and less on the other abstract issues. By recognizing the importance of project planning and public involvement on any project, Neel-Schaffer now has the unique ability to enhance the services it provides by supplementing every project with these additional resources.
In her new role, Boone will lead her staff in growing the department’s portfolio, identifying planning opportunities, and enhance existing services to clients.
“This will allow our engineers to focus on the engineering side of the project without having to worry about the other issues that can arise.” said Boone. “This department will specialize in things like engaging stakeholders, gathering public opinion and analyzing community development, all of which are important to any project.”
“Specializing in both community involvement and emergency planning, the new department will be an especially valuable resources as the company grows and expands to offer new services in new markets.” said David Bowman, Neel-Schaffer Vice President.
Boone further stated, “I am excited about the opportunity to augment the services Neel-Schaffer provides its clients through community development and planning. I am privileged to work with a dynamic group of individuals whose passion for what they do makes us successful.”
