Biloxi, MS., February 3, 2009-----Mary Elizabeth Bergin of Neel-Schaffer, Inc. has passed the examination for licensing as a professional engineer in the state of Alabama. Ms. Bergin joined Neel-Schaffer in 2005 after 1 ½ years with a consulting firm in Orlando, FL. She received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Auburn University in 2003.

Ms. Bergin’s experience includes traffic studies, traffic analysis reports, development of geometric designs for roadway improvements associated with traffic study recommendations. She has also participated in the production of roadway and traffic control plans, including signing and pavement marking plans and lighting plans.

Neel-Schaffer, Inc. is an engineering and planning firm with 30 offices located throughout the southern portion of the United States.
