HATTIESBURG, Miss. (March 29, 2017) – Neel-Schaffer, Inc., is pleased to announce that Doug Wimberly, PE, PS, has joined the firm as a Senior Project Manager in the Hattiesburg office.
Wimberly has over 30 years of experience in a wide variety of civil engineering design disciplines, including civil-site, roadway, drainage, water, and sewer. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Texas and a Registered Professional Surveyor in Mississippi and Louisiana.
“We are happy to have a professional with Doug’s extensive experience with public and private projects join our Hattiesburg staff,” said Mike Essary, Engineer Manager for Neel-Schaffer’s Pine Belt Region offices. “Along with being a licensed Surveyor, he has worked on a wide range of civil engineering projects. Doug is from Hattiesburg, and we are always looking to hire quality individuals who are from the communities where we work.”
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University, and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering – Environmental Emphasis from Louisiana State University.
